ZIYA ARTISAN is a design collaboration between retail brand ZIYA and Maranao weaver groups, the MARANAO COLLECTIBLES and SINAGTALA.
ZIYA ARTISAN was born from our desire to empower the Marawi weaving industry. Weaving has been a source of income for many Maranaos, especially after the Marawi siege as thousands of residents were displaced and their sources of income were cut off. 
Thus, we have incorporated the beautiful langkit in our designs to help sustain this revived livelihood.
